Wow.
Well, then, I guess we’re both disappointed in each other.
As someone who began his piece with a seeming awareness of the USofA’s horrific foreign policy, you went straight down the rabbit hole of USofA propaganda around the situation that led to this war and the excuses they are using to keep it going. Anyone who has seen USofA foreign policy at work knows that democracy and freedom are the excuses they always use to inflict violence somewhere thousands of miles away.
You ask for “arguments, facts and citations”. Are you really unaware of the chicanery that the USofA has been involved in that has led to this situation. Saying it was “unprovoked”is to not know the history of NATO/USofA machinations in that area for at least the last 8 years. Or take all those facts and brus them aside as Kremlin propaganda.
The information is out there—and I am calling out my government at every turn. Red-white-blue smoking guns are strewn all over Ukraine.
Some are extremely revealing of the endgame that the USofA had in mind. Consider the 4 Feb 2014 phone call between Victoria Nuland and Geoffrey Pyatt. If you don’t know it, Google is your friend.
What should the “response” have been begins before the war. And since the war the USofA has done nothing to help support an end to it—nothing—because it suits them perfectly to have a proxy war with Russia using Ukrainian blood.

“Insults”? What?— that I said you got fooled this time??
And your last sentence is a rather sad kettle/black comment in a condescending tone.
“Do better next time, this was very disappointing.”
Trust me I will not cast my pearls here a "next time."
