Two of my favorite vovels are "Against The Day" and "Mason & Dixon" by Thomas Pynchon. After I read those two "Gravity's Rainbow" dropped down in estimation.

My other favorite is Infinite Jest — working my way through it a second time now.

These writers make demands on the reader (thank you) and reward you with so much more.
