Truth truth truth. I live in NYC and it seems everyone has to have their mammal on a string and be able to take them everywhere. They're on subways now (and not just little in a bag as allowed) and sitting next to tables at restaurants.

And the dogshit n the streets makes even the wealthier neihborgoods a walking labyrinth. Everywhere signs begging people to curb their dogs as gardens and trees get destroyed.

I digress.

(I'd share the link to a piece I wrote in 2019 on these mammals on strings but I don't like to intrude on other's stories with my own.)
