This is the continuation of The Wars and I (1951–1971)

And so here we are today.

I was going to begin by saying that I have lived, since Vietnam, through many many other wars.
The most I can truly say is that I’ve lived through many many protests in the streets against these ongoing atrocities.
Afghanistan. Iraq. Lebanon. Libya. Panama. Who can keep track?!

But I live in the Unites States, a very isolated country still working its way through adolescence, and we’ve made sure that all the wars happen far away.

Proxy wars, hands filthy with choreographed regime changes and invasions, are a USofA specialty.
Our creation of good-guy/bad-guy propaganda to fluff up these actions has become a fine art, pumping directly into all the corporate owned media outlets — right into your television and online “news sources”.
Look over the long history of our friends/enemies list — Qaddafi. Noriega. Hussein — and how it gets…
