About War in General and Specific

I faced the draft during the Vietnam Invasion and I was among those who were paying close attention. My name was going to be put into the USofA Southeast Asian Death Lottery. I had a stake in this insane military extravaganza playing out on the 10 o’clock news. Every night it was the reading of the US troop death numbers to a nation of television viewers—numbed, fooled, and pacified by the deceptions.

During the time since then I have not dulled my critical thinking regarding this kill-or-be-killed enterprise that exists to keep the coffers of the wealthy full.
Nor have I become susceptible to the narratives with which the eight companies that control television broadcasting continue to inculcate and distract millions of viewers. Not I.
