Which “media” — amidst the blend of information and entertainment sources — are these changes going to be implemented through?
(Just look at the fact that the NYTimes can choose to not even mention Jill Stein as a candidate, no matter how many state’s ballots she is on.)
And through which “popular culture lens” are we going to “approach” the necessary changes?
(The “Swifties”? Gangsta rap? Cable news? etc)
Just look at how fast any remnants of critical thinking—or demands for real change—went out the window as soon as a superficial and pathetic enthusiasm was manufactured for Obamala Harris.
The Comfortables are quite easily satisfied.
We’ve seen this game played out by the duoply over and over again—and the gullible, driven by desperation and propaganda, are willing to bend over for whatever cliches and hypoerbole are tossed at them—not even asking for lube or for policies that the candidates will really stand by.
How do we change this raging culture of consumerism when capitalism demands wars *

I don't see it happening until this empire is seriously puhed back from its disgusting arrogance and military expansionism—and that would include our leaders being held responsible for the atrocities they have manufactured and are supporting.
I'm 72. Possibly, hopefully, in my lifetime.
