Much of what I write about war - and my sometimes over-emotional responses - come from my experience with the USofA government. I did understand your point of empathy for both Russian and Ukranian boys being pulled into this. While Putrin's power grab was carried out horrifically, I believe the extent of what he wants to be terribly distorted by the West to work the Hitler-demonoization game. A cartoonization of evil.

Again - I watch from here and the USofA has no moral high ground to be speaking, to say they are defending freedom or democracy.

We may not have an easy caricature of evil like Putin, but we're doing the same dirty work and lways have. Our most visible evil ones, like Bush and Cheney, are enjoying wonderful happy lives — when they should be in jail as war criminals, with the blood of hundreds of thouisand of Iraquis on their hands.

It is a real effort to get any information from the war besides the mass media here - they've made sure of that, blocking any dissent. Land of freedom, yeah.

Anyway . . .thanks for writing, thanks for sharing your thoughts, I'm a crank curmudgeon and nothing gets me going more than that human insanity of war.
