I live in the USA. SInce as a teen I faced the Vietnam Death Lottery (I said no thanks) I have watched what the USA has been doing very closely.
We as citizens need to speak out against it but the evening infotainment news has dumbed down the population — they have been propaganda bamboozled to go on about Russia and Putin (they know little more than the Boris Badenov they learned from cartoons).
Russia and China are not my enemies—the people in Washington DC are—both halves of the duopoly. Even Bernie Sanders blathers like a neocon these days days.
But back to my comment — your response to the author skipped over the parts of the article — and reality — that didn't fit your narrative. Like Zelenskyy shifting to embrace a hardline stance against pro-Moscow separatists in the Donbas, and the whole vile Nuland/Pyatt machinations.
Putin IS trying to stop it. It appears that Trump is trying to stop it (although he also will not admit the USA machinations that led to it). The internationally traveling Court Fool of Ukraine had more photo ops with European leaders to take care of so he does not want to stop his end of the meat grinder.
And just as a side note the evil dictator provides his people with free healtcare while out freedom loving Dems and Reps won't hear of it. Can't afford it. Israel needs weapons.
