Even that Nobel Peacenik Prize winner, Henry Kissinger, spoke up in dissent to the way the USA is handling this - pointing out its flaws.

His knowledge of the history of that region, and that of US interventions in general, led him to suggest that methods other than America’s full-steam-ahead militaristic stampede should be considered.

“Even such famed dissidents as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and Joseph Brodsky,”—he wrote—“insisted that Ukraine was an integral part of Russian history and, indeed, of Russia.”
