Did the people of the USofA stop ANY of our aggressor leaders? (Yes, millions protested in the streets before George W. and his band invaded Iraq.) But an even larger majority pretended it wasn't happening. I don't know whay we should expect the Russians to respond any more than people here in the USofA did. The governments have them propagandized and passified. Wars are all rackets.
