As you point out with Iraq — and it wasn't just young people, this old geezer was out there protesting as he did in every one of our invasions — many people are opposed to war. I dare say there are many Ukrainians who wish their leaders would work harder at finding non-violent solutions. I include Zelensky in my judgements. Men everywhere, guns and war. But leaders in all countries do what they want to do. The USofA is now fueling this proxy war with Russia.. In the end, the leaders will all go back to their nice homes while the blood runs in the streets. As Major General Smedly Butler so clearly explained it in his essay: it's the War Racket!
