As someone who has always chafed at the restrictions of male clothing choices I was not actually thinking of something that would expose genitals, but even be tight fitting enough (leggings) to reveal form.

Like what I see many women wearing in NYC - super thin leggings that I refer to as Vulva-Trou™ ©. .

I realize that the state wouldn't have anything to say about that, but certainly man women, and especially straight men (who police what men wear, enforced with threats of violence) would not want to be exposed to it.

I love the article you attached.

I worked with a woman at Borders years ago who liked to wear negligee like tops to work. Her revealing tops where even addressed by management. And she regularly complained that "creepy-old-guys" were looking at her. I suspect the young ones she thought cute were not an issue.

The debate about women wearing whatever they choose should addrees cat-calling and other nasty behavior. But if you are wearing stilleto heels and a short skirt, well . . . looking is likely and it will not only be Johnny Depp or some other imagined romantic character who will do so.

I'm sure when I do, if spotted, can get labeled that creepy-old-guy.

Boy is the gender stuff crazy. I've had gay men (I'm bi) avoid me when they saw I had painted my toenails (one of the greatest gender transgressions).

Again - thanks for your article!
